Prestige Dakota Cordless Red Jug Kettle
Has a good finish and pleasing appearance, the level indicator is very clear and the blue backlighting quite sexy.
When brand new the kettle was quiet but after a few weeks is now as noisy as the one we threw out. This is only a problem if you like to listen to the radio whilst boiling!
Point to note: The “minimum” water line is about half a litre, which isn’t very eco when making a solo cuppa – but I can forgive that because its red!
Prestige Deco Cordless Jug Kettle, Pillar Box Red, 1.5 Litre
According to Which, “Prestiges cheerful red Deco jug kettle achieves excellent energy efficiency and is well made – but its heavy. Its not particularly quick to boil, taking two minutes 35 seconds to boil a litre of water, but the automatic cut-off is prompt, and this model has excellent energy efficiency”. Id disagree with the “heavy” comment but otherwise it feels like a quality product and we like it a lot

Morphy Richards Traditional Kettle Burgundy
My personal experience of this kettle is a good one. It boils rapidly, is very quiet (especially if you switch off the optional whistle), pours well and also looks nice.
